 In "Mr. Peabody & Sherman," an animated film released in 2014, the story follows the adventures of Mr. Peabody, a genius dog, and his adopted human son, Sherman. The movie is based on characters from the 1960s animated television series "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show."

Back in the present, the disturbance caused by their actions creates a time rift, threatening the space-time continuum. Mr. Peabody, Sherman, and Penny must fix the rift by returning the amulet to its original place in history.

Their journey takes them through various historical periods, including the Trojan War, Renaissance Italy, and the French Revolution. Along the way, they encounter famous figures like Leonardo da Vinci, King Tutankhamun, and Marie Antoinette, adding humor and excitement to their adventures.

As they navigate these historical events, Mr. Peabody and Sherman also confront their own challenges.
